The 62nd edition of the Grammy Awards, the biggest award in the music industry, will take place on January 26, next Sunday. After months since the nominees were announced, we at The Soundx took note of all the nominees and assembled an article showing the likely winners, our favorites at each award and those snubbed in the 2020 edition of the award.
For this list, we analyzed the main categories and categories that we would be aware of and have some opinion formed about it. Technical and specific categories of certain musical genres will not be evaluated due to lack of speech property.
For everyone’s consensus, the likely winners are chosen based on a more macro analysis of other awards and the current situation in the music world, as well as the snubbed ones who, even with a certain external performance, did not receive certain attention from the Academy. The favorites to win are based on our opinions, not necessarily considering external factors.
